Ad Van Genderen (SBZ Corporations Product Manager) was delighted to give a talk at this year’s Benelux Congress on the broad topic of ‘The Development of Engine Oil Additives’. Ad has worked voluntarily for the last ten years on the Technical and Competition Committee of the UEIL and seven years as editor of the lube magazine ‘SmeerOlieKroniek’ of the VSN.
The Benelux Lubricating Oil Congress is organized annually together with the Belgian sister organization LAB. An inspiring day, intended for everyone who is active in Belgium and the Netherlands in the research and development of lubricants, or in the production or sale of lubricants.
The Netherlands Lubricating Oil Companies Association (VSN) was founded in 1952. Over the past seventy years, the VSN has grown into a contemporary sector organization.
The VSN represents the interests of producers and (wholesale) traders in lubricating oils and fats. Members are companies that manufacture, import, export, and/or trade lubricating oils and greases. They are large, medium, and small companies, which together account for more than 90% of the domestic consumption of lubricants. This makes the VSN a relevant discussion partner for the government.
Thank you to everyone who attended.
