Fire Foam Testing

A foam’s performance can be compromised by dilution, contamination or extremes of temperature.  International standards (NFPA11, BS 5306, UKOO/HSE) recommend that foam concentrates are tested annually to ensure products meets the internationally recognized extinguishment, burn back and proportioning standards.  SBZ provides testing programmes to ensure the correct standards are met.  Foam concentrate and produced foam testing is carried out under laboratory conditions ensuring fast, accurate results.

In addition, SBZ supplies easy to use “Field Testing Kits” which check the physical conformance and foam % induction rate of AFFF, protein and alcohol resistant foam concentrates and produced foams.
