Aqueous Film Forming Foam - Low Freeze (AFFF-LF)

AFFF-LF's have low temperature properties to as low -18°C.  They offer fast fire knockdown and can be used either aspirated or non-aspirated. Typically first choice for extinguishing fires on offshore platforms, petrochemical installations, hydrocarbon storage, power stations and wherever fast extinguishments is essential for saving life.

Available as 1%, 3% and 6% concentrates

Not suitable for use on fuels which are polar solvents and water miscible such as alcohols, ketones, aldehydes and ethers.

Aqueous Film Forming Foam – Alcohol Resistant – Low Freeze (AFFF-AR-LF)

AFFF-AR-LF’s have low temperature properties down to -18°C. They contain a polymeric membrane which prevents the foam blanket breaking down in the presence of alcohol and polar solvents.  AFFF-AR-LF’s are suitable for use on fuels which are polar solvents such as, alcohols, glycols, ketones and esters.
