The REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of CHemicals) Regulation was implemented in Europe on 1st June 2007 with the aim to streamline and refine data on all chemical substances in the European Union.
REACH has a series of stages and stringent guidelines which must be adhered to by any organization manufacturing or importing substances in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year in the EU. SBZ Corporation fulfils all its obligations in accordance to REACH.
SBZ works closely with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) based in Finland who is the regulatory body which manages the technical and administrative aspects of REACH.
